The Vacation Channel has been the leader in providing information for locals and visitors to Ozark Mountain Country. The Vacation Channel is a Class A television station, broadcast on Channel 38, and our signal is carried on all of the Branson/Tri-Lakes cable systems, plus as of November 2008, the channel also serves the Christian county communities of Ozark & Nixa! Businesses that advertise on The Vacation Channel can potentially reach more than 47,000 overnight accommodations, campsites and local homes in and around Taney and Stone
counties in Missouri.

Earls & Associates Broadcasting, which also owns and operates radio stations in Branson, MO, along with Harrison and Mountain Home Arkansas. The Vacation Channel is committed to the Branson/Tri-Lakes area, and is involved with, and respected by, many local agencies and businesses including the City Of Branson, The Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau and The Table Rock Lake Area Chamber of Commerce to name just a few.

The Basic Concept…
Is to provide information in an entertaining, and informational format that airs constantly throughout the day. Our visitor oriented programs contain welcomed information that includes interesting history about the area, tips on how to get around on our road system, weather forecasts and local color radar every 15 minutes, and of course information about what there is to do in the area. The Vacation Channel broadcasts 24 hours a day, with our standard broadcast day running from 6:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m.; anything that runs between 1:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. is considered a bonus or make good run.

Local Programming …
Was created because of the increased number of local viewers tuning into The Vacation Channel. The Hometown Hour airs daily at the 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. time slot and includes a wide variety of programs produced by The Vacation Channel, including the award winning Kids Connection, Branson Community Connection, Sports Spotlight and more. We also produce a local newscast - Newsline, and a local community events program - Ozark Mountain Country Update and Community Calendar, that run several times throughout the day as well.
